HOW WE WORK

The olive groves of our members extend in Umbria, in the hills of Lake Trasimeno, at an altitude between 300 – 500 meters above sea level.

The main cultivars are Frantoio, Leccino, Moraiolo and Dolce Agogia.

An important mention should be made for the Dolce Agogia, which right on the shores of Lake Trasimeno finds its “cradle” which make it a native and unique cultivar of its kind in Italy.

Through the commitment of the company, which provides technical assistance to members, we arrived at the definition of the ideal harvesting period in the months of October and November.

Our technologically advanced oil mill works in a continuous cycle and allows us to operate cold, limiting the use of water to a minimum while respecting environmental resources.

The entire processing cycle is controlled in order to guarantee the very high quality of our oil.

Storage and packaging are carried out in rooms with a controlled temperature of 17 ° C, the steel tanks are inerted with food nitrogen, to safeguard the organoleptic and chemical characteristics of the product.

Last but not least, the cooperative uses 100% of electricity produced from renewable sources.
